Prof Sarpong holds a PhD and MCom in Finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, a postgraduate diploma in financial planning, and a bachelor's degree in psychology. He is the founder of Financial Therapy for Men Inc., a non-profit initiative focused on promoting healthy financial behaviours and psychological wellness for men. He is the author of Portfolio Management for Financial Advisors, managing editor of Frontiers in Financial Psychology, and co-editor of Perspectives in Financial Therapy.
